Project Description
Leaf Interiors was started in October 2013 by Sally and Karen, two friends who shared a love for home decor and began making customised curtains for their friends. Their hobby quickly evolved into a business as they began taking orders for their creations and they soon began adding other home accessories and furnishings to their inventory.
Following the recent transformation of their new eCommerce website, MeeCreative was asked to improve upon the original wix website which was both limited in functionality and difficult to manage. With over 75 products added to the site, our aim was to design a modern and responsive site with a feeling of heritage through old fashion looking images and textures.
After wireframing and designing mockups, we then built a bespoke WordPress site which would suit their business needs for its current and future state – we always consider the direction in which a business is going, not just where it’s currently at, that way if the company needs to expand it will have the capacity to do so!
The final outcome resulted in a more professional and user-friendly site that could be easily maintained through a simplified CMS in which the client was given training.
