Tutor Genius

Project Description

TutorGenius offers tuition services to children and students on a primary, secondary and degree level. Lessons are primarily offered online via Skype however there are face-to-face lessons available local to the Swansea area. Specialist subjects taught include English, French, History, Business and more.

When founder Chris Poote first approached MeeCreative about the project it was originally proposed that we develop an online system that handles bookings and an online video/teaching facility. Following some extensive research, we worked with Chris to establish that the best solution for TutorGenius at present would be to only handle bookings online. Chris would then continue to use Skype for online lessons meaning no change to the current working process.

The fully bespoke website was built with WordPress including a section which allows all bookings and lessons to be managed easily. We were asked to produce a modern design with a traditional feel to reflect the traditional teaching service TutorGenius offers. Together with use of some educational colours and a “document” feel, the website ticked all the boxes. Chris was very happy with the outcome and looks forward to growing the business through the website.
